Hollywood U2 was chosen out of all other U2 tributes for Ryan Seacrest and Mark Cuban’s AXS TV show The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands. They were also the first band to be invited back on the show by popular demand to perform a 90 minute set of music live on TV. Fronted by Joe Hier (Hollywood Bono), who was invited by the actual Bono to sing a duet of “The Sweetest Thing” live on stage at the Forum, Hollywood U2 is based in Los Angeles.
